Terms of Use

1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern the minoli app, its extensions, widgets and Live Activities, and the minoli.app website. By downloading, purchasing or using minoli, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

The App Store license also remains subject to Apple’s Standard EULA. If there is a conflict about the App Store license, that Standard EULA and Apple’s mandatory rules prevail.

2. License

Subject to these terms, the publisher grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use minoli on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Usage Rules.

Unless mandatory law permits it, you may not copy, redistribute, rent, sell, sublicense, bypass technical restrictions, reverse-engineer, disassemble or create derivative works from the app.

3. The service

minoli helps capture, break down, prioritize, plan and track tasks and routines. Suggestions are produced locally from the information you enter and can be edited, ignored or deleted at any time.

The app does not guarantee a particular result, increased productivity, or that a duration, priority, suggestion or breakdown is error-free. You remain responsible for checking important information, especially anything involving deadlines, health, safety, contracts or financial decisions.

Not a medical service

minoli is a general organization tool. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, medical or psychological advice and does not replace a qualified professional. In an emergency or if your safety is at risk, contact the appropriate emergency service.

4. Acceptable use

You must use minoli lawfully and respect third-party rights. You may not use the app or website to:

• infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
• introduce malicious code, disrupt the service or bypass its protections;
• extract or exploit the app, its models, content or interfaces beyond what the law allows;
• use a linked external service contrary to that service’s terms.

You are responsible for the content you enter and for backing up important information. Do not store information you do not want shown on the lock screen if you enable notifications, widgets or Live Activities.

5. Free version, Minoli+ and purchases

minoli may offer a limited free version, monthly or annual Minoli+ subscriptions, and a non-consumable “lifetime” purchase. Included features, price, currency, period, any free trial and applicable conditions are displayed in the app and on the App Store purchase sheet before confirmation. The information shown at purchase prevails.

Auto-renewable subscriptions

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation.
• After any free trial, the subscription becomes paid unless canceled before the trial ends within the time stated by Apple.
• The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless mandatory law provides otherwise. You will not be charged for another renewal.

“Lifetime” purchase

The “lifetime” option is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks the features described as included for as long as minoli remains available and maintained, on compatible devices associated with the Apple Account, subject to App Store rules. It is not a promise of perpetual availability or free access to a separate future product.

Restoration and refunds

The Restore button checks entitlements associated with the Apple Account. Apple manages purchasing, billing, price changes, taxes and refunds. You may request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple’s rules and applicable statutory rights.

6. Availability, updates and changes

The publisher may fix, change, add, remove or replace features for security, compliance, compatibility or service improvement. Some features depend on a compatible iOS version, supported hardware, iCloud or App Store services.

Access may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, incidents, updates or outside causes. To the extent permitted by law, uninterrupted and error-free availability is not guaranteed. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

7. Intellectual property

The app, website and their trademarks, text, interfaces, graphics, software, models and original elements belong to the publisher or its licensors. No rights are granted except the limited license above.

You keep your rights in the content you enter. minoli does not claim ownership of it and does not use it to train a remote service.

8. Personal data

minoli’s practices concerning data, permissions, retention, deletion and privacy choices are described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Warranties and liability

minoli is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a warranty, liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

The publisher is not responsible for decisions made solely from a minoli suggestion, loss caused by a user choosing not to back up data, or external services provided by Apple. Any publisher liability remains subject to mandatory applicable law.

10. Term and termination

These terms apply while you use minoli. You can stop using and delete the app at any time; remember to cancel any active subscription separately in your Apple Account.

The license may end if you materially breach these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect, including intellectual-property provisions and limitations allowed by law.

11. Apple-specific terms

• These terms are between you and the publisher, not Apple. The publisher, not Apple, is responsible for minoli and its content.
• The publisher alone is responsible for app maintenance and support; Apple has no obligation to provide those services.
• Within the Standard EULA, if the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• The publisher, not Apple, addresses claims about the app, legal compliance, consumer protection, privacy and intellectual-property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not listed on a U.S. prohibited or restricted-party list.
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms, including Apple’s terms and your carrier’s agreement.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Governing law and disputes

Subject to mandatory consumer protections, these terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring proceedings before its competent courts.

If a problem arises, please contact the publisher first to seek an informal solution. Details of the competent consumer mediator must be added if the publisher is legally required to appoint one: [MEDIATOR TO COMPLETE IF APPLICABLE].

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may change to reflect changes in the service, business model or law. The effective date appears above. Material changes will be communicated appropriately before they apply where required by law.
