2. Data processed and purposes
minoli only processes information needed for the features you use. App content stays on your device unless you voluntarily enable iCloud backup.

Privacy and usage statistics
Your data privacy is a priority for the minoli team.
minoli uses usage statistics exclusively for analytics to improve the app. These statistics do not include any personal content entered in the app: tasks, notes, thoughts, voice recordings or other content.
These statistics are not sent to any AI service, sold or shared with commercial partners, or used for advertising purposes.
Your personal content continues to be processed on your device and is never transmitted. A private backup in your iCloud account is available if you enable this option.
On-device analysis
Segmentation, task breakdown, prioritization and “I’m stuck” responses are computed on device. When the optional local model is used, it is embedded in the app and runs on the iPhone. No task text is sent to a third-party AI provider.
3. Legal bases
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, processing relies on the following legal bases:
- Performance of the requested service or contract: local app operation, recording choices, checking a Minoli+ entitlement and providing support requested by the user.
- Consent or voluntary action: enabling Microphone, Speech Recognition, Calendar, Notifications and iCloud backup. These choices can be withdrawn at any time.
- Legitimate interests: security, abuse prevention, website operation and handling support requests, without overriding individual rights and freedoms.
- Legal obligation: retaining or disclosing only information required by law, including when a purchase or lawful request requires it.
4. Apple services
iCloud / CloudKit
Backup is off by default and only used after opt-in. It stores a private copy in your iCloud account. Turning backup off stops new copies but does not automatically remove data already stored in iCloud.
StoreKit and the App Store
Apple processes the account, payment, billing, renewal, refund and purchase history under its own terms and privacy policy.
Calendar
minoli requests write-only access and creates a dedicated calendar. The app does not read your other calendars or their events.
System notifications and surfaces
Notifications, widgets and Live Activities locally display information needed for the feature you requested.
These services are provided by Apple. Apple’s processing is governed by its Privacy Policy.
5. Website
minoli.app is a static website. It currently has no account, form, audience analytics, advertising pixel, advertising network or tracking cookie. The site does not store preferences in your browser.
The host may process technical data strictly needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, date, requested resource and browser information. The host and its details must be added to the legal notice before release.
6. Sharing and international transfers
minoli does not sell, rent or use your data for advertising, and does not share it with analytics or remote AI providers. The only external services described here are Apple services you choose or that are needed for an App Store purchase, plus the website host.
The app does not arrange any international transfer of your content. Apple and the website host may process their own technical data as explained in their respective policies.
7. Retention and deletion
- Local tasks, routines, settings and histories remain on the device until you delete them in minoli, reset them, or delete the app and its data.
- Dictation audio is ephemeral and is not retained by minoli.
- Notifications remain managed by iOS until delivery, modification or cancellation.
- Events in the “minoli” calendar remain until deleted by minoli or by you.
- The iCloud copy remains in your account until you remove it using the applicable Apple settings and controls.
- Apple retains transaction and billing information according to its rules and legal obligations.
- Website technical logs are retained for the period set by the host; this must be completed once hosting is selected.
8. Permissions and withdrawal
Microphone, Speech Recognition, Calendar and Notification access are requested only when you enable the related feature. Declining does not prevent use of the core app: you can type, keep tasks only in minoli and use the app without reminders.
You can revoke a permission at any time in iOS Settings, disable calendar sync and iCloud backup in minoli, or reset personalization data from the app’s Data section.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability concerning personal data actually held by the publisher. You may also withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing.
Because minoli has no content account or server, the publisher cannot remotely view, export or delete tasks stored on your device or in your private iCloud space. The app and Apple controls are provided for that purpose.
You may complain to the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) or the data protection authority in your country.
10. Security and children
Data minimization is minoli’s first security measure: no account, no personal content server, on-device processing of personal content and narrowly scoped permissions. Device and iCloud-copy security also depend on the passcode, Apple Account and security settings chosen by the user.
minoli is an organization app primarily intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect information about children and is not designed for the App Store Kids Category.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, website or applicable law changes. The update date appears at the top of this page. Material changes will be brought to your attention through an appropriate channel.
